ABOUT JOSÉ VICTOR TORELLI

José Victor Torelli is an audio engineer with over 13 years of experience, originally from Piedade, Brazil and currently living in Berlin, Germany.

Guitarist from a young age, the interest for music led him to surround himself with the studio environment already as a teenager, at the time helping out with sessions at studio Fatale. At 18 years old he initiated a Music Production & Audio Engineering diploma at Point Blank Music School, in London.

Aware of the importance of musical skills in a studio environment, began a Music Performance bachelor at Souza Lima & Berklee, back in São Paulo. Parallel to the studies, he started working at Galeão, a studio and record label responsible for a notable catalogue of Brazilian music, previously known as Velas.

Surrounded by musicians from the local scene, Zé developed a trustful relationship with clients and began working directly with them - working from his mixing studio and also freelancing for major studios in São Paulo (Dissenso Studio, Flap C4, BTG Studio, Galeão). 

With the goal of expanding his professional portfolio and knowledge, he moved to Berlin, Germany in May 2017, where he started working at JRS Studio, and later in 2023 opened his own Norami Studio.
